Small steps towards a great adventure in the mountains.

What makes a South Tyrolean farm walking holiday for families with children so attractive?

Especially for children, the novelty of standing on the summit of a mountain is a very emotional experience. Whether the climb is 2000m or 3000m, children are able to successfully complete mountain tours with plenty of motivation, a great sense of adventure and a little endurance.
Once on the summit, all the fatigue is soon forgotten and only the smiles of the small walkers remain. Astounded at their own achievements, a deep breath of crystal-clear mountain air and an amazing view across the mountains - a superb feeling.
Normally, children are open to new experiences, so where better to find these than in the natural world. Here there is plenty of room for the fantasy of the little ones: a small butterfly on the roadside, a huge deer on the mountain pastures or a gnarled old tree on which to play .... a fascinating world for children.
The little ones also enjoy interesting and varied footpaths such as country tracks full of rocks, puddles to jump in and small waterfalls or pools full of toads to explore. The children are also allowed plenty of free time for a break and play, of course.
Pyramix, Mill Trail, Bee Trail ... These exciting trails with specific themes to explore while wandering through the whole South Tyrol are aimed at awakening the wandering instincts of the children. In great excitement the kids, following an itinerary, run from one place to another anxious to see what awaits them; perhaps another exciting task or fun on the small ropes course in the middle of the wood. They may have story of witches or other legends but, at the same time, also learn, for example, how bees make honey and so on.
Pyramix, the funny mascot of the new family- trail to Renon marks the way to a beautiful springtime walk.
On hot summer days, a great experience for the whole family is the Urelesteig trail up on the Sarn valley pastures with its mountain lake and alpine pine forest. An ideal place to cool off!
